Building upon many years of privately shared thoughts on the real benefits of Stoic Philosophy, Liam Milburn eventually published a selection of Stoic passages that had helped him to live well. They were accompanied by some of his own personal reflections. This blog hopes to continue his mission of encouraging the wisdom of Stoicism in the exercise of everyday life. All the reflections are taken from his notes, from late 1992 to early 2017.

"Well, I'm calling him out for 'offending' a dozen women he has sexually abused, so no, I'm not signing your paper."
"I do really like you, but you need to sign this, or otherwise you'll be fired. I don't want to do this."
"Then don't do it. Grow a pair."
"Listen, this is how it's done."
"Okay, where is the right and the wrong in this picture?"
"But you made him look bad, and you need to do what he says. There's no other way around it."
"Exactly what sort of moral universe do you live in?"
