Building upon many years of privately shared thoughts on the real benefits of Stoic Philosophy, Liam Milburn eventually published a selection of Stoic passages that had helped him to live well. They were accompanied by some of his own personal reflections. This blog hopes to continue his mission of encouraging the wisdom of Stoicism in the exercise of everyday life. All the reflections are taken from his notes, from late 1992 to early 2017.

Stoic Conversations 14
"You're really freaking me out. Half of your office is filled with pictures of birds!"
"Well, there's a personal reason for that, but you have a meeting to go to, so I won't waste your time. We all share what we think is beautiful in this life. You have your diplomas, or all the pictures of yourself shaking hands with rich people, and I have my birds."
"But BIRDS? Dude, that's sick!"
"Don't you have an important meeting with the Board, like right now?"
