Building upon many years of privately shared thoughts on the real benefits of Stoic Philosophy, Liam Milburn eventually published a selection of Stoic passages that had helped him to live well. That is the true athlete, that trains himself to resist such outward impressions as these.
"Stay, wretched man! suffer not yourself to be carried away!"
Great is the combat, divine the task! You are fighting for Kingship, for Liberty, for Happiness, for Tranquillity.
Remember God: call upon Him to aid you, like a comrade that stands beside you in the fight.
