Building upon many years of privately shared thoughts on the real benefits of Stoic Philosophy, Liam Milburn eventually published a selection of Stoic passages that had helped him to live well. The vulture soars high up in the air, but all the while he is looking down into the charnel pits in search of putrid carcasses.
So the book-read pandits speak glibly and volubly about Divine Knowledge, but it is all mere talk, for all the while their mind is thinking about how to get money, respect, honor, power, and so forth, the vain reward of their learning.
